Tobacco Products and E-Cigarettes – EU Registration & Compliance
A manufacturer or importer placing tobacco products, electronic cigarettes and related products on the market must meet the requirements imposed by Directive 2014/40/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council on the approximation of the laws, regulations and administrative provisions of the Member States concerning the manufacture, presentation and sale of tobacco and related products and repealing Directive 2001/37/EC.
Manufacturers or importers must meet the following obligations:
- Register the product via EU-CEG
- Provide a Safety Data Sheet
- Properly label the product in line with EU regulatory requirements
